This may look like the start of a post documenting the before and after photo showing dramatic weight loss, a transformation to a healthier way of life and well-being.  Unfortunately this isn't that story.

This story is however a before and after of sorts.  The before is a lady who is currently 52 stone (728 lbs / 330 kg) who wishes to get to 57 stone (796lbs / 362kg ) by the end of 2012 and has the goal of beating the world record for a woman of 115 Stones (1610lbs  / 730kg).  Her starting point is morbid obesity

Yes that's right, she wants to more than double her weight.  To achieve her goal (the - after) could well lead to ill health or even death.

Here's a few quotes:

‘I'd love to find out if it's humanly possible to reach a ton’

‘If I was to get sick, I've arranged for my sister to take care of my kids.'

‘I go for a waddle and do stretches and exercises every day,’ she said. 'My muscles need to hold up to my weight, so I have to stay strong.'

The one thing that startles me is that she eats on a daily basis more than the recommended calorie intake for 11 women and her monthly shop with her 2 boys takes up to 8 hours.  As she states - ‘It's like a full day's work!'
